The title is self-explanatory, but I've decided to start a blog so I can update this web page more often with both pertinent and non-pertinent information.

As far as the site goes, I'm still having MP3 issues, obviously.  I taught myself how to use Finale, so figuring out how to render my music so it sounds immaculate is very challenging.  I just bought a book called Composing with Finale by Mark Johnson this week from Amazon.com, so hopefully that will help me with all of the issues I'm having.

In other composition news, my Facebook fan page has been updated with some of my newer sketches.  I'm rather fond of the violin concerto and the second movement of my symphony so far.  If you're interested, head to the links tab and check out the page!

I'm not going to lie, I'm exhausted.  Between work at the County Clare, my music, getting prepared for culinary school in January, Untamed, and having a social life, I seemed to have cut out the social life part completely from my list.  I can't even remember the last time I've had a drink.  And that, my friends, is either dedication or insanity.

I'm also conflicted with what to do about the Untamed Gala.  Originally it was going to be held on Friday, December 18th, but because of work, I've changed it to that Saturday.  I'd love any recommendations for party dishes or hors d'oeurves that I could lay out for my guests.  Not only that, but I'm also playing around with idea of a tux.  Too much, perhaps?

If you are planning on attending the gala, let me first just say THANK YOU, because I'm honestly worried nobody will show up.  I should let you know right now that this will be a fancy affair...so dress to impress!

Everything seems to be going at a steady pace at the moment, but I almost feel as if I'm not doing enough.  I guess I'd be even more frightened if things were at a standstill, so I suppose I'll just be thankful they aren't.

Hooray for my first pointless blog entry.  I hope the others will be more exciting, and I'm sure you do to.
